After the success of Sydney’s Evapor-Aid which sold out in 24 hours and raised over $7000 for QLD flood victims it’s now Melbourne’s turn to be saturated in flood puns.

Melbourne’s comedians have blown up their floaties and packed their ShamWows for a massive night of dry humour to support their damp Queensland friends and fellow Victorians.

Evapor-Aid will be biggest flood benefit comedy show since 1974.  Book early in case we’re inundated. 

Evapor-Aid: Melbourne is presented by Barry Radio and will be streamed over the net courtesy of VioCorp and CVP.

This Sunday, 23rd January, 7:30pm, at The Corner Hotel, 57 Swan Street, Richmond VIC All tickets are $30 plus Booking Fee.

A big thank you to Sydney for selling out EvaporAid #1. What an extraordinary event! Quite possibly one of the most fun comedy shows I have ever had the privilege of being apart of. It was fast, furious, and very very funny.

We raised $7700 dollars for the Premier’s Flood Relief Appeal

Highlights for me were

-Giving away 160 ShamWows to our Audience Oprah Style (Thanks Global Shop Direct!)

-Auctioning off The Fully Sick Rapper as a Topless Waiter

-Internet Streaming (Thanks VioCorp) We served about a thousand streams at it’s peak 150 people were watching us at the same time! Awesome

-Danny Bhoy doing an un-announced 20min set!

-CHAMPANGE!

-MAN FIZ!

-And the Charity Song, sung by Improv Australia, and Penny McNamee and The Fully Sick Rapper.

-ABC Radio’s Mark Colvin Winning the main Raffle Prize after diligently live Tweeting the entire event! Thank You Mark!! A Well Deserved Win!

and DJ Tom Loud!!!! That man is a genius.

Big thanks to everyone especially Bec De Unamuno, Alex Plim and Daniel Cordeaux who spent an hour taping ShamWow’s to the bottom of everyone’s chairs. Awesome!
